WPT Vacations Terms and Conditions

Welcome to WPT Vacations! We appreciate your business and want to ensure a smooth experience for you. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking with us. By booking a vacation rental with WPT Vacations, you agree to the following terms:

  1. General Policies

    1.1 Agreement
    By booking a vacation rental property through WPT Vacations, you enter into a binding agreement to abide by these Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of the property and related services.

    1.2 Rental Requirements
    • Primary renters must be 21 years or older to make a reservation.
    • A valid government-issued photo ID and a valid credit card are required for booking and check-in.
    • All reservations require payment as described in the Payment Policy below.

    1.3 Occupancy Limits
    The maximum occupancy for each property is stated in the property listing and must not be exceeded. Unauthorized guests may result in additional charges or eviction without a refund.
  2. Reservations & Payment

    2.1 Booking Process
    Reservations can be made online through our website, by phone, or via email. A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of payment and a signed rental agreement.

    2.2 Payment Policy
    • A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.
    • The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
    • Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require payment in full at the time of booking.

    2.3 Accepted Payment Methods
    We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and other payment options approved at the time of booking.
  3. Cancellations and Refunds

    3.1 Cancellation Policy
    • Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of $150.
    • Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will forfeit the full rental amount.
    • No refunds will be provided for early departures or no-shows.

    3.2 Rescheduling
    Guests may request to reschedule a booking outside the 30-day cancellation window. Approval is subject to availability and additional fees.

    3.3 Travel Insurance
    We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your reservation in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  4. Check-In and Check-Out

    4.1 Check-In
    • Check-in begins at 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
    • Guests will receive property access instructions via email prior to check-in.

    4.2 Check-Out
    • Check-out is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
    • Late check-outs may incur additional fees unless pre-approved by WPT Vacations.

    4.3 Property Condition
    Guests are expected to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. Please report any damage or issues immediately upon arrival.
  5. House Rules

    5.1 No Smoking
    All WPT Vacations properties are strictly non-smoking. A cleaning fee of up to $500 will be charged for violations.

    5.2 No Pets
    Pets are not allowed unless the property is specifically designated as pet-friendly, and a pet fee has been paid in advance.

    5.3 Noise Policy
    Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please respect neighbors and maintain noise levels accordingly.

    5.4 Property Use
    The rental property is for residential use only. Parties, events, or commercial use are strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
  6. Damage Policy

    Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, or equipment caused during their stay. A valid credit card will be held on file as a security deposit. Charges will be assessed for:
    • Damages beyond normal wear and tear.
    • Excessive cleaning fees.
    • Missing items.
  7. Liability & Indemnification

    WPT Vacations and property owners shall not be liable for any accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property that occur during your stay. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless WPT Vacations and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from their use of the rental property.
  8. Force Majeure

    WPT Vacations is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by events outside of our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  9. Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Florida. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Wakulla or Franklin County.
  10. SMS

    By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you consent to receive text messages from Vacations by Waypoint related to your stay and responses to your inquiries. We assure you that you will not receive spam texts from us. If you prefer not to receive text messages, please email us your preference. To opt out of future communications, simply reply STOP at any time. Message & data rates may apply.
